AI Use and Disclaimer

Important information about AI-assisted design, development, research, and content services.

Last updated: October 13, 2026

1. AI may be used as a support tool

Stencll may use third-party artificial intelligence tools to assist with research, brainstorming, copy drafts, design exploration, software development, testing, documentation, and workflow automation. AI tools support our work; they do not replace professional review or client approval.

2. No guarantee of AI output

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, biased, nonsensical, unavailable, or similar to material generated for others. It may also contain coding defects, security weaknesses, accessibility issues, or unintentional third-party material. Stencll does not guarantee that AI output is accurate, original, suitable, compliant, or free of errors.

3. Human review and client approval

Stencll will use reasonable professional judgment to review work within the agreed scope. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving final copy, claims, code, legal notices, regulated content, accessibility, security configuration, and business decisions before publication or use. You should have qualified professionals review legal, tax, medical, financial, safety, or regulatory content.

4. Confidential information

Do not provide passwords, payment details, highly sensitive personal information, protected health information, trade secrets, or other confidential material to an AI tool unless the applicable project agreement expressly allows it and appropriate safeguards are in place. Third-party AI providers may process submitted data under their own terms. Ask Stencll before sharing information that requires special handling.

5. Website code and security

AI-assisted code must be tested and reviewed, but review cannot guarantee that a site is free from vulnerabilities. You are responsible for maintaining hosting, credentials, dependencies, content, integrations, and operational security after delivery unless an active maintenance agreement says otherwise. Suspected issues should be reported through our security disclosure page.

6. Your instructions and materials

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for materials and instructions you provide. You must not ask Stencll to generate or publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing, discriminatory, or harmful material. You are responsible for final use of all deliverables.

7. Relationship to other terms

This page supplements our Terms and Conditions and any written project agreement. If there is a conflict, the project agreement controls the specific service, and mandatory law controls over all other terms.
